Security Industry Celebrates Excellence at 2025 Australian Security Industry Awards

On 30 October, the Australian security industry gathered for a prestigious evening at the Park Hyatt Melbourne to honour the recipients of the 2025 Australian Security Industry Awards. The event brought together leading professionals from across the sector to celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions.

Hosted by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL), the peak body representing security professionals nationwide, the awards ceremony encompassed three distinguished programmes:

  • The 29th Australian Security Industry Awards for Excellence
  • The 14th Australian Security Medals Foundation Awards
  • The 10th Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs)

Professor Martin Gill, founder of the OSPAs, attended the event in person and praised the calibre of this year’s nominees. “I was delighted to be able to attend in person this year. The calibre and credentials of entrants reflect the high standing of security professionals in Australia,” he said. “The winners of the Australian OSPAs will qualify for the 2025 Global OSPAs, and I had the honour of presenting three of the 2024 Global OSPA awards to Australian recipients during the celebration in Melbourne.”

The evening highlighted the innovation, dedication, and professionalism that continue to elevate Australia’s security industry on the global stage.
